GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Another performance has been announced for the already packed line up for the National Cherry Festival.
Festival officials have announced four-time Grammy winners Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will kick-off the festival on the Pepsi Bay Side Music Stage on June 30!
Canadian 80's rock legends, Loverboy, will be joining the pair as well.
“We are thrilled to welcome Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo opening night of Festival week”, said Kat Paye, National Cherry Festival Executive Director.
Benatar and Giraldo have formed one of the most successful partnerships in music history. Their rock and roll love affair has endured for 38 years and they continue to tour every year, wowing audiences everywhere.
“Loverboy is a Classic Rock favorite and their music is in high rotation on Classic Rock Radio playlists everywhere. Four of the five Loverboy members are original and this will be a terrific jump-start to eight nights of great live shows at the Bay Side Music Stage” said Kat Paye, National Cherry Festival Executive Director.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 6 at 9 a.m.
The National Cherry Festival runs from June 30 to July 7.
