Tennessee bill would ban tanning beds for those under 18 years old
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - A new bill proposed in Tennessee would make it illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to use tanning beds.
Right now, teens can start going to tanning beds at 14, as long as they're accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If HB1489 is passed, any business that violates the new rule faces up to $500 in fines.
