$19 million lottery winner will soon take center stage
Michigan Lottery officials say the holder of a Mega Millions ticket that's worth $19 million will be introduced at a press conference.
The event is planned Wednesday afternoon at the Michigan Lottery's headquarters in Lansing.
The lottery says the sole jackpot-winning ticket for the Feb. 5 drawing was sold at Festival Foods in Houghton in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The winning numbers for the drawing were two, five, 10, 26 and 44. The Mega Ball number was 46.
The winner can choose to collect $19 million over 26 years, before taxes, or take a lump sum of about $14 million, before taxes.
