Investigators say a northbound pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old Manton man crossed the centerline and struck a southbound semi truck hauling bees. There were two men in the semi, the passenger was able to make it out of the vehicle after the crash and was treated for injuries at the scene.
The 22-year-old man driving the pick up truck and the 27-year-old Suttons Bay man driving the semi truck both were pronounced deceased at the scene. The roadway was closed for about 6 hours as crews cleaned up the scene.
