21-year-old arrested for breaking into Wolverine High School
Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old Gaylord man for breaking into Wolverine High School in early April.
Thomas Taylor Baur was arrested last Wednesday after officials received information that he may have been involved in the break-in.
"We were able to make contact with him in Gaylord and gathered evidence at a residence that led to his arrest," Sheriff Clarmont said. "At this point it appears he acted alone."
Authorities say Baur broke into Wolverine High School and broke a window, took food and candy, and rummaged through rooms.
Baur was charged with safe breaking, breaking and entering, larceny in a building, habitual offender 2nd offense.
His bond was set at $30,000. He will be in court next on May 8.
