An 83-year-old man was found dead in 5 feet of water in Antrim County.
According to Antrim County Sheriff Daniel Bean, family had last spoken to John Stopa on Saturday at 11 a.m. They said Stopa was working down by the water at a home on N.W. Torch Lake drive in Kewadin.
After the family couldn't get in touch with him, they checked the home and found him dead at about 1:45 p.m. in approximately 5 feet of water.
The Antrim County Sheriff Office is investigating the death as a possible drowning. An autopsy has been ordered.
