Thursday will be a gorgeous day for northern Michigan.
We have a system to the south and a weak front to the north - with high pressure over the Great Lakes region leaving us dry and sunny.
Thursday highs will be in the mid and upper 60s for parts of the E. U.P. and Northern Lower, but most will reach into the low and mid 70s. There will be plenty of blue skies and a NW wind at 5-10mph.
Cloud cover will start to increase a bit heading into the overnight and Friday, with partly cloudy conditions across most of the L.P.
Friday and Saturday will both have some sunshine, and temps will be in the 70s and low 80s. Our next chance of rain doesn't look to arrive until Saturday night.
With warm temps, low humidity levels, and dry ground conditions we do have an elevated fire danger, so be sure to take all of the proper precautions around your campfire.
