High pressure over the Great Lakes region is giving us a beautiful weekend a warm start to the workweek.
It's going to feel a bit more like summer thanks to our current weather set-up. High pressure has cleared out our skies, so get ready for a stretch of sun and stars.
Friday will be filled with sunshine and highs in the mid 70s for the E. U.P. and mid 70s to low 80s for the L.P. Winds will be westerly at about 5-10mph.
Heading overnight we'll have mostly clear skies, and it's another one of relatively chilly temperatures. Inland areas will drop into the mid 40s, whereas closer to the lakeshores temperatures will be in the low and mid 50s.
That will lead us into an amazing weekend. Both days will be very sunny, and afternoon highs will reach the upper 70s to mid 80s.
The great weather spreads into the workweek as well - highs around 80 degrees and tons of sun. The southern counties will get back into the mid and upper 80s mid-week, and we see our next chance of rain enter the picture Thursday.
