The first full weekend of summer is here, and we'll see hot and humid weather for it!
A stationary front is draped across the straits for most of the day before moving north into Canada as a warm front - low pressure located in Minnesota.
Keeping southerly winds (5-15mph, gusts in low 20s), we're also keeping the heat and humidity around. Afternoon temperatures Sunday will be in the upper 70s in the E. U.P. and in the 80s to around 90 degrees in the L.P.
We'll see some sun, but scattered showers and storms will pop up, especially in the afternoon with the daytime heating - nothing that will be a day-ruiner or last long, but something you may want the umbrella for.
If you have plans for the evening, temps will remain mild. Our overnight lows into Monday will remain in the 60s.
