High pressure keeps Northern Michigan in pleasant weather a bit longer.
After a very mild overnight, Sunday morning will bring temperatures in the 60s. Most will remain dry throughout the entire day and reach into the 80s, but we do have a chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon - especially in the northernmost counties - as a weak cold front enters the U.P. Winds will be out of the southerly direction at 5-15mph.
Monday will bring another day around 80 degrees with some sun and some clouds, but again the chance of rain/storms in the afternoon.
This pattern will continue into the middle of the week until high pressure moves back in - bringing dry, sunny skies again. Since many areas need rain, this pattern will be a welcome one to start the workweek.
