NORTHERN MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU) -- Looking for a new best friend? Well, the animals below are looking for you too! Every Friday we will feature some very special dogs and cats that might steal your heart!
Say hello to Dasher!
Just look at his face and those ears!! Dasher is a hound mix and 1.5 years old.
Dasher is a curious, active, young guy who is still learning basic commands. Dasher learned how to sit a few weeks ago and loves to play and run! He Seems to do well with the other dogs at the shelter and is a very sweet, sweet boy who loves to please!
To meet Dasher just head to Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City. The phone number is: 231-946-5116.
Blossom is about a year old and was brought to Antrim County Animal Control as a stray. Blossom is young and an absolute sweetheart and should be able to adjust to any home as long as other animals are cat friendly.
You can meet Blossom at the Traverse City PetSmart Cattery.
The adoption hours at the cattery are:
Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
You can also fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire and an AC Paw volunteer will contact you.
Say hello to Gracie!
Gracie is a super sweet girl, very gentle and a bit on the shy side. Gracie is about 9 years old, housebroken and does well with kids and other dog (unsure about cats)
Gracie walks nicely on a lead and knows some commands.
