Arrest made in Traverse City library for Kalkaska County homicide

A Traverse City man was arrested at the Grand Traverse Library on an arrest warrant for a homicide out of Kalkaska County.
Daniel Scott Delater is accused of delivering drugs to Daniel White, who later passed away in Kalkaska County on Oct. 11, 2013.
According to the Kalkaska County Medical Examiner's Office, an autopsy was conducted on White and determined the cause of death to be an overdose of methadone.
Delater was arraigned Wednesday for delivery of controlled substance causing death as well as controlled substance delivery/manufacture less than 50 grams.
A not guilty plea was entered on Delater's behalf. The bond is set at $2 million.
Delater is behind bars in the Kalkaska County Jail and is scheduled for a preliminary exam July 28th.
