Arrests made in 2008 arson case
Michigan State Police say 59 year old Terry Leach conspired with another man to burn her Osceola County house down in 2008 so she could collect insurance money.
Leach is being held on $1000,000 bond in the Osceola County Jail while the other suspect, a 46 year old Marion, Michigan man, is being held in the DeKalb County Jail after being picked up in Atlanta, Georgia.
Charges against the pair include arson, conspiracy to commit arson, insurance fraud and conspiracy to commit insurance fraud.
The investigation into this case began in 2008 when Leach's home in Middle Branch Township caught fire and investigators determined the cause was arson.
If convicted both suspects face up to 20 years in prison.
