Attorney General Bill Schuette makes visit to Traverse City
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Attorney General Bill Schuette visited northern Michigan on Wednesday, just less than 24 hours after announcing he's running for Governor.
The reupblican candiate met with supports at the Cambria Suites in Traverse City.
He shared his vision for Michigan which focused on lowering taxes and bringing jobs back to the mitten state.
The Attorney General joins a growing list of people running for the republican nomination including Evan Space, Joseph Derose, Jim Hines, Mark McFarlin and Senator Patrick Colbeck of Canton.
On the democratic side candaidates include former Senator Gretchen Whitmer, Bill Cobbs, Abdul El-Sayed, Shri Thanedar, Justin Giroux and Kentiel White.
