'Beauty and the Beast' brings in big crowds
MANISTEE COUNTY, Mi. (WPBN/WGTU) - Dozens packed the Historic Vogue Theater anticipating the opening show of Beauty and the Beast Thursday night.
The nearly sold out show was a “sneak peek” for families and all ages, some dressing in themed attire and bringing dolls and toys from the movie.
“It’s going to be our biggest movie of the year so far,” said Marty Yaple, one of the theater managers.
“I love the beast the most, I’m just really excited,” said one young girl waiting for the doors to the theater to open.
The Vogue Theater will have special keepsakes for anyone who brings Beauty and the Beast dolls or stuffed animals Friday through Sunday.
There will be two late night screenings at 10:00 March 24-25 and a “Princess Party” that begins at noon on Sunday, April 2 before the 1:00 PM movie.
The theater invites all ages for tea and cookies as well as a reading of the story book as well as a special screening option in the smaller theater for pre-school ages.
