Bodies of missing couple positively identified
MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Investigators said the bodies found in Dead Stream Swamp have been positively identified as the missing Missaukee County couple.
Jeff Hurley, 34, and Alexandria Foust, 19, were reported missing in November 2017.
On Monday, March 26, Michigan State Police from the Houghton Lake Post said two bodies were found in the area of where the couple's vehicle was found on November 8.
At the time, the bodies matched the description of both Hurley and Foust but investigators were not able to positively identify them.
The body of Hurley was positively identified last week.
Spectrum Hospital of Grand Rapids was able to positively identify Foust's body Wednesday.
The cause of death for each is pending medical examination and toxicology reports.
