DETROIT - Police say bones have been found in the walls of a downtown Detroit apartment building that's undergoing renovations.
Sgt. Michael Woody tells The Detroit News that the medical examiner's office plans to determine whether the bones are human. Crime scene investigators were on the scene Thursday morning at Ashley Apartments.
The building was originally developed as the Henry Clay Hotel in 1917 and converted into The Milner Hotel in the 1930s. The hotel closed in 2012.
