Cadillac man arrested for drunkenly firing gun inside an occupied home
A Cadillac man was arrested after he allegedly fired a gun inside a home while he was drunk.
According to the Cadillac Police Department, Robert James Porteous Jr., 48, was arrested after the incident on the 200 block of E. Chapin St. in Cadillac.
Police determined Porteous fired a .22 rifle inside the home while it was occupied.
He was arrested for felonies of discharging a firearm inside an occupied dwelling, being intoxicated while in possession of a firearm, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
No one was injured.
