Cadillac schools investigating note found on school device
WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A note found on a school device launched an investigation at Cadillac schools Thursday.
A student found the note on a calculator and reported it to teachers.
The investigation forced a late dismissal for students at both the senior and junior high school.
There was no lockdown and classes ran as normal.
Authorities swept the building, but didn't find anything.
"We appreciate our parents' patience and cooperation," said Cadillac Schools Superintendent Jennifer Brown. "They are always so understanding when we put the safety first of our students, so no we are confident that our buildings are secure and safe and that it is safe to return to school."
Brown says classes will resume as usual on Friday.
