Caldwell pleads guilty to all charges in girlfriend's death
The man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend in Traverse City in November pleaded guilty to all four charges.
Robert Caldwell, 33, pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, discharge of a firearm while under the influence, felony firearm, and resisting and obstructing police.
The family and friends of the victim, Monica Anderson, filled the courtroom Friday to hear the plea being entered.
Police said Caldwell shot his 28-year-old girlfriend, Monica Anderson, on Nov. 19, 2013. He told police he was trying to commit suicide and missed.
