Celebration of life ceremony set for fire chief
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Northern Michigan is remembering a fire chief who served the Grand Traverse community for more than 50 years.
Chief Wayne Hanna, who retired as the chief of the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department in 2006, lost his battle with cancer on Monday.
Chief Hanna's celebration of life will be held at the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Station One on Sunday at 1 p.m. (843 Industrial Circle Traverse City, Mich.)
