A Cheboygan County man is back to work and suffering no serious injuries after being trapped beneath a cement casket vault .
The 50-year-old was helping set the vault into place Friday morning at Northern Michigan Baptist Bible Church Cemetery when the vault, weighing an estimated 2,000 pounds, slipped and pinned the man's legs.
The Tuscarora Township Fire Department used air bags and other equipment to stabilize the vault. Fire Chief Dave Carpenter said a nearby business, Ginop Sales, brought a sky lift to help lift the vault.
The vault was removed after about half an hour.
