A 41-year-old Cheboygan man was arrested Thursday evening for selling and storing a large amount of prescription drugs.
The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement initially searched the Cheboygan resident for selling fentanyl. Detectives conducted controlled purchases from the suspect that led to the seizure of a significant amount of prescription narcotics, cash, and two vehicles.
Fentanyl is a strong pain medication that is approximately 80 times more powerful than morphine.
The suspect was held at the Cheboygan County Jail on charges of delivery of fentanyl and maintaining a drug house.
