Child ejected after rollover crash, driver arrested
OCEANA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A 37-year-old man was arrested after a rollover crash in Oceana County.
It happened Sunday around 8:10 p.m. on S. US 31 near W. Stony Lake Rd.
According to the Oceana County Sheriff's Office, a pickup truck, driven by Brian Vining, was heading south in the passing lane when he started to swerve on and off the road. The vehicle created yaw skid marks as the truck crossed both lanes of the road.
The vehicle finally left the road to the right and rolled over once. The child in the vehicle was ejected.
After further investigation, the driver was found to be operating while impaired and was lodged.
The child was not injured.
