A Presque Isle county man will spend up to 20 years in prison after committing sex crimes against children.
David Parker was given the maximum sentence today for 10 counts of child sex crimes committed against three children.
Last month, Parker pled guilty to seven counts of child abusive sexual activity that involved boys under the age of eight in Presque Isle and Cheboygan Counties. He also pled guilty to three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under the age of seven.
The Presque Isle County Prosecutor tells 7&4 that Parker apologized in court today but called the apology "half-hearted and very brief."
The judge also stated that if Parker gets out of prison, he'll have to spend the rest of his life wearing an electronic monitor.
