We'll start the weekend with clouds Saturday morning...and some light rain and snow from the northern tip of the Lower Peninsula northward across eastern counties of the Upper Peninsula. The precipitation ends in the AM...and the clouds try to break...so we should get some afternoon sunshine. It might be late in the afternoon on the Huron side. Wind from the north 5-15 mph.
High temperatures Saturday will be mostly in the 40s across northern Michigan. Typical highs this time of year are closer to 60.
Saturday night will be partly cloudy. The wind will be light, and the low temperatures will fall to around freezing.
Sunday will look great. Sunshine, light wind...but chilly. Highs will range from the middle 40s in the U.P. to middle 50s for the central Lower Peninsula. Light wind 5-15 mph from east or northeast.
Next chance for widespread rain...Monday evening.
