Cocaine bust could land man, woman in prison
MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Two people are arraigned on drug charges months after drug detectives raided a house in Manistee.
54-year-old Eddie Scott and 20-year-old Alexis Burton, both from Manistee, are charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver less than 50 grams of cocaine.
In September Manistee City Police officers raided a home in the 500 block of River Street. After searching the home an unspecified amount of cocaine was seized.
Scott has since been released from the Manistee County Jail after posting a $6,000 bond.
At the time of Burton's arraignment she was being lodged at the Muskegon County Jail on an unrelated case.
Scott and Burton both face up to 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine if convicted.
