The weekend will be colder than the past couple of days when we saw lots of daytime high temperatures in the 20s. Today, the highs will range from 10 to 20 degrees. Sunday's highs will be in the teens, and in a few towns you could see low 20s.
You might see a flurry this morning, but we also will get some sunshine thru the clouds today. This evening, more snow starts to move into the Upper Peninsula. Overnight that snow will spread all across the region and linger into Sunday morning. Snow totals will be light...maybe 2 inches in a few places...but 1 inch of snow will be a common total.
After some morning snow tomorrow, the sun will break thru the clouds again.
Wind will be light 5-15 mph from the northwest on Saturday and from the northeast on Sunday.
Monday...highs in the 20s and more snow.
Tuesday...highs will climb into the 30s in parts of northern Michigan.
