Deadly single-vehicle crash under investigation
GLADWIN COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A single vehicle crash is under investigation after it left one person dead in Secord Township.
The crash was reported around 8:43 p.m. Monday on Bomanville Road east of Three Rivers Road.
According to the Gladwin County Sheriff's Office, deputies and medical personnel saw a 1930's style Roadster in the ditch. The driver, 70-year-old Lou Genta from Grand Blanc, had been ejected during the crash.
The passenger, 64-year-old Denice Genta, was found dead and partially out of the vehicle.
We are told Lou has ties to Gladwin County.
The Gladwin Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Secord Fire Department, Gladwin EMS and a traffic crash specialist from the Michigan State Police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
