GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Ever wanted to work for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources? Well, now is your chance!
The DNR is holding a job fair on Tuesday, March 20.
It will be held at the Traverse City DNR Customer Service Center on M-37 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During the fair, there will be representatives from a variety of divisions, including parks, wildlife, law enforcement, fisheries and finance, to talk with people and share information on current job opportunities.
"The Traverse City DNR Job and Career Fair is a convenient and unique opportunity to provide information to people looking for local summer jobs with the DNR, and those interested in a career at the DNR," said Chris Stark, park manager at Interlochen State Park.
Current employment opportunities available in the area include summer jobs with local state parks, as well as noncareer wildlife assistants.
