      Deputies looking for man who stole over 100 car batteries from Walmart

      According to the Isabella County Sheriff's Office, the man stole 180 used car batteries from a fenced-in area outside the Tire Lube Express between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Friday.

      Deputies in Isabella County are looking for a man who they say stole over 100 used car batteries from Walmart Friday night.

      According to the Isabella County Sheriff's Office, the man stole 180 used car batteries from a fenced-in area outside the Tire Lube Express between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Friday.

      The Sheriff's Office said the man hooked a chain to the back of his green pickup that has a silver bottom and hooked the other end to the locked gate. He then used his truck to pull open the gate.

      He ended up stealing approximately 180 used car batteries valued at $1,600.

      The man is described as a white male with brown facial hair and a full head of hair. He is estimated to be between 5'9-5'10 with a medium build. The Sheriff's Department estimated his age to be between 30-40.

      He was wearing a Detroit Lions winter coat that had a small Lion on the left chest area and a larger Lion on the back.
