Deputy: Men twitching, making erratic movements arrested on drug-related charges
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Two men were arrested after a deputy patrolling the area on St. Patrick's Day noticed the two acting erratically.
It happened Friday at 4:14 p.m. on Barlow Street in Traverse City.
According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was patrolling Barlow Street when he came across two men, a 29-year-old and a 30-year-old from Traverse City.
The deputy said the men were twitching and making erratic moments. The deputy then started talking to the men and realized they were on a substance.
We are told both men are also on probation out of circuit court.
One man, 29, admitted he had syringes on him loaded with a substance. This substance is being tested in a lab to see what it is.
Deputies also found a folded up piece of paper with a white powder inside that tested positive to meth on the 30-year-old man.
Both men were taken to jail.
