      Deputy pleads guilty to misdemeanor after drunk driving arrest

      Michael Max was arrested Feb. 22 for drunk driving and carrying a firearm while intoxicated.

      A Roscommon County deputy pleaded guilty to drunk driving.

      Michael Max was arrested Feb. 22 for drunk driving and carrying a firearm while intoxicated.

      Max was put on suspension without pay after the arrest but has since been reinstated.

      He pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while impaired, which is a misdemeanor carrying a maximum sentence of 93 days in jail or probation.

      The sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
