Detroit man arrested in Gaylord drug bust

S.A.N.E officers executed a search warrant at the apartment Mendaville-Nelson was staying in Gaylord.

The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Team seized crack cocaine, marijuana and cash while executing a search warrant at a Gaylord apartment on Wednesday.

Officers arrested 22-year-old Gawain Mendaville-Nelson for two counts of delivery of crack cocaine, one count of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and one count of maintaining a drug house.

Mendaville-Nelson was taken to the Otsego County Jail.

The Michigan State Police canine handler from the Gaylord post and Gaylord Police helped S.A.N.E officers in the bust.
