Dogs fly high at Cherry Fest competition
Flags weren't the only things flying high this Fourth of July --- dogs were too. The Ultimate Air Dog competition kicked off it's three day National Cherry Festival stop this morning.
Nearly one hundred dogs competed with their owners to advance in this regional competition. Back for it's seventh year at the Cherry Fest, organizers say that both the wow factor and the family friendly atmosphere keep the fans coming back.
"This is kind of a wow factor as you can tell," said Milt Wilcox, founder of Ultimate Air Dogs. "The dog is running down a forty foot dock at about 30 mph jumping in the air making a big splash, people love it and it brings them back maybe to their childhoods when they used to have a dog that could do that."
If you didn't get a chance to see the Ultimate Air Dogs yet there are two more days of competition on Friday and Saturday.
