Dozens of marijuana plants seized following tip to police
EMMET COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Boyne Falls man is facing charges, accused of running a marijuana grow operation in Emmet County.
Michigan State Police received a tip that a person was seen tending to several marijuana plants outdoors in Bear Creek Township. When police arrived at the property they said they found about 30 marijuana plants.
Also seized during the investigation according to police: fertilizer, magnesium, a vehicle and other materials used to grow marijuana.
The 52-year-old suspect is in the Emmet County Jail awaiting arraignment.
