A Traverse City man was arrested Tuesday after officers found him driving with a suspended driver's license, with cocaine in the car and five outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Around 7 p.m. Tuesday, a Traverse City Police Officer noticed a driver near Ninth Street in Traverse City who was not wearing a seatbelt. When he pulled the man over, the officer noticed that the driver's license was suspended and that he had been convicted of driving with a suspended license before, so he arrested the man.
After checking the driver's record, the officer found that the man had five outstanding warrants, including three from Traverse City.
The officer then searched the car and found cocaine in the middle console.
The man will now face several charges including possession and driving with a suspended license.
