Drug detectives find drugs, guns inside home after traffic stop
OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A traffic stop turns into a drug bust after detectives say they found an illegal marijuana grow operation inside a Bagley Township home.
According to the Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement, they have been investigating a suspect selling marijuana in Otsego County for about a month.
Investigators say the suspect was pulled over on Thursday in Gaylord and a search warrant was issued for his home.
During the search of his home, officers seized 4.5 pounds of marijuana, 27 marijuana plants, 25 oxycodone pills, a vehicle, 2 handguns, 4 long guns, $2,300 and other evidence.
The investigation is ongoing.
