Two people have been found dead in the past week and the Benzie County Sheriff believes drug overdoses are to blame.
A 22-year-old man was found dead Wednesday at a home in Colfax Township. Authorities found the man around 11 a.m. The Sheriff's Department says evidence at the scene suggests the cause of death was a heroin overdose.
Another man was found dead in Homestead Township on March 19. The 42-year-old was found at a private residence.
The Sheriff's Office is waiting for toxicology reports for both men.
Authorities say the cases do not appear to be related.
