Drunk driver fights police in jail
A Muskegon man who was arrested for drunk driving got into even more trouble once he got to jail.
According to the Mason County Sheriff's Office, Eric Klopp got into a fight with a Sheriff's deputy and a State Police trooper when they tried to book him into the Mason County Jail.
Klopp was arrested around 1 a.m. Thursday.
He was charged with operating while intoxicated in the third degree, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
Deputy Ed Rasmussen was treated for a knee injury at Spectrum Health-Ludington.
Bond was set at $10,000.
