We have to get through some more flurries and chilly temperatures before we'll see more sunshine and warmer weather.
Low pressure is located off of the east coast Tuesday morning (the same one that brought multiple inches of rain and snow to areas south of us). On the backside of it, we're seeing winds out of the north and scattered light snow showers this morning. These flurries will continue to fall with little accumulation, if anything, expected. It will cause us to keep a lot of the clouds around Tuesday as well.
High pressure over the plains is headed our way though, and will provide a break from the precipitation and some more sunshine.
Expect some cloud cover again Wednesday with a little less Thursday. Friday and Saturday look to be beautiful, with temperatures in the 40s, light winds, and lots of sunshine - good traveling weather for those celebrating the Easter holiday.
We are watching a low pressure system that looks to arrive later Saturday. With lows Sunday morning near freezing, it may mean some wintry mix and some slick roads. There is also chance of rain Sunday - with so many hoping to hunt eggs outdoors we'll make sure and keep you updated on the forecast!
