Evart Police increase reward for information about December school vandalism
The Evart Police Department has increased its reward to $1,000 for information about a school vandalism case in December.
Four windows at Evart Elementary School were destroyed after shots were fired through the windows over holiday break. Police determined the windows were damaged by "projectiles discharged by a firearm."
Evidence at the scene indicate the shots came from a shotgun and a semi-automatic rifle. Police said four shots were fired.
While police are following several leads, they are asking for the community's help. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible.
