Father found guilty of abusing two-month-old
KALKASKA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU)-- A father accused of abusing his two-month-old baby has been found guilty.
Kalkaska County Prosecutor Mike Perreault says Rodger Nesto was found guilty Tuesday on charges of first degree child abuse and second degree child abuse.
According to the Kalkaska County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a call in April of 2016 about a possible child abuse incident.
Deputies say when they arrived to the scene, they found a two-month-old baby girl who had bruising and a possible head injury.
The baby was transported to Munson Medical Center where officials determined the infant had past abusive injuries, deputies say.
Nesto's sentencing date has not been set.
