Wolverine High School was broken into over last night.

Wolverine High School was broken into over last night.

Sheriff Dale Clarmont said the school was broken into sometime over the night.

A window was broken and candy and food items were stolen. The suspect, or suspects, also rummaged through rooms.

Sheriff Clarmont said it was likely teens or adults that are responsible for the break-in.

"Some evidence was obtained at the scene and will be analyzed at the crime lab," Clarmont said. "Someone knows who did this and we hope they will come forward."

Sheriff Clarmont is asking parents and community members to contact the Cheboygan County Sheriff Department at 231-627-3155 if they have any information.
