Former CMU employee accused of stealing money from student organization
ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A 35-year-old woman is being accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from a Central Michigan University student organization.
Amber Loomis was arraigned on Aug. 14 for one count of embezzlement more than $1,000 but less than $20,000.
We are told Loomis is a former CMU employee who allegedly took money from a student organization.
Loomis also has another court case in Isabella County that includes fraud and four charges of non-sufficient fund checks.
Her embezzlement case has bound over to circuit court to trial so there is no new court day scheduled yet.
