Four people found inside a Chippewa County home used to make meth were arrested and taken to jail early Saturday morning, according to Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement.

Authorities used a search warrant at the home on Ford Drive in Soo Township.

Once inside they found chemicals, components and equipment for manufacturing meth, along with syringes, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.

A search last Thursday in Sault Ste. Marie led authorities to the search warrant in Soo Township Saturday morning.

Authorities found that meth was being manufactured Thursday at a duplex on Andary Street.

Three men ranging from 35 to 44 years old were arrested for one count each for manufacturing meth. A 31-year-old woman was arrested for one count of delivery of heroin.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
