French chef opens crepe restaurant in Traverse City
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Burgers, pizza, tacos, and now crepes! The newest foodie addition to Traverse City, Crepes & Co., has officially opened its doors at the State Street Marketplace.
French chef, Vanessa Grasset, owner of Crepes & Co. studied in France and locally in northern Michigan at Great Lakes Culinary Institute.
The crepe shop has been open for about a week and has already experienced a flooding of customers eager for the sweet and savory treats.
The foodie destination celebrates being a local destination and uses many local ingredients, from: Sleeping Bear Dunes honey, jam, cherries, Moomers Ice Cream and more.
