Authorities are on the scene of a train crash in Otsego County.
Witnesses say the train collided with a Waste Management Garbage Truck around noon on 27 South at Mancelona Road.
The train appears to be a Lake State Railway Company train.
Police say the truck driver stopped at the intersection then pulled in front of the train. They say he "must not have been paying attention."
The train was traveling between 23 and 25 miles per hour when it hit the cab of the garbage truck.
The driver in the truck, a 58-year-old man, was trapped for a while but has since been taken to the hospital with lacerations on his face and leg.
The 44-year-old train engineer was not injured.
Mancelona Road has been re-opened.
