A gorgeous day awaits northern Michigan Monday before more rain and storm return.
Scattered showers are popping up across the region Sunday afternoon and evening, and they'll wind down heading into the overnight. Lows Sunday night won't be as chilly, with most of us staying in the 40s.
Slap on the sunscreen Monday! The day looks beautiful - highs in the 60s and low 70s with plenty of blue skies. Winds will be out of the SW at 5-15mph, with gusts possible around 20mph. If you're along the Lake Huron side, you may have a pop-up shower in the afternoon.
Rain will move in from the west Monday evening, spreading across the area. Thanks to a warm front passing through, lows Monday night will be around 50 degrees.
Some, especially in the E. U.P. and Northern Lower, will have rain heading out the door Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will be warm, with more highs in the 60s and 70s, but we're also looking at rain and thunderstorms throughout the day and into Wednesday morning.
We then dry out to end the week. After a bit of a drop in temps Thursday, we're back into the 60s and low 70s with lots of sun heading into Memorial Day weekend.
