Grand Rapids man injured in motorcycle accident
A 32-year-old Grand Rapids man is being treated for head injuries after crashing his motorcycle in Big Rapids.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday the driver of the motorcyle lost control while making a left hand turn from State Street on to Rust Avenue.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Big Rapids Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor.
The driver was originally taken to Mecosta County Medical for injuries, but has since been transported to Butterworth Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids.
